On February 6, 2014, Pericles hosted a talk on

'Territorial claims for the Arctic: The Role of UNCLOS and International Law'

with Charlene Caprio, Esq., A New York Lawyer.

Those who attended had an opportunity to learn about present Artic disputes and the types of claims that exist today between the countries that border the Arctic, which included a discussion on the role of the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea. Participants also talked about other current claims taking place globally.
