who will speak about their experiences buiding their legal practices in Russia.

 

Ivan Tertychny — a Russian advocate with many years of experience advising on corporate and finance transactions under English and Russian law. Ivan has worked at White & Case and Norton Rose Fulbright. Where a project requires other specialisation, his firm regularly engages qualified Russian and foreign lawyers and also works with a pool of leading firms in other
jurisdictions.

Maxim Elisavetsky is the managing partner at a new Russian law firm, Elisavetsky, Zryuev and partners Law Firm. Max has extensive Russian litigation experience. He is the former head of litigation practice at another, medium size Russian law firm and has also worked in-house at Hewlett-Packard.

 

 

Daniel Klein is a New York lawyer who is the founding partner of Podolsky & Klein (www.pklawpartners.com), which started in 2010, and prior to that was a co-founder of Hellevig, Klein & Usov, and the Avenir/Awara brand of service companies, which have been operating for over a decade.  He specializes in legal issues of small and mid-size Western companies in Russia, including corporate, M&A, financing, real estate and IP.  He also serves on the board of directors of many companies doing business in Russia.  He often appears as a legal commentator on RT and other news media outlets.  Daniel holds a JD from New York Law School, and an MBA from LBS, as well as a BS in Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis.
