Ten individually corrected essays and numerous practice questions are completed for homework.

Over 400 practice questions are reviewed in class.

Two full practice tests are given in class.

Different teachers for verbal and math topics ensure expertise.

Course includes all materials and software.

The course is 53 academic hours (40 clock hours). Classes may be repeated the next time the course is offered, with partially different content, to provide 100 or more academic hours.

Taught completely in English by fully qualified and trained Western professors.

SAT FAQS
3 hour and 45 minute test-really long
Not given on computer but instead on paper-at fixed dates every year.
Test was fully revised in 2004
It costs $41.50 for students to take the SAT exam. (Our prep course, of course, costs more.)
Scoring is from 200-800 on each of 3 parts for a total score of 600-2400.
Most students take the SAT twice. Once in junior year for practice and once in senior year to see if they can raise their score. There is no limit to the number of times you can take it.
Besides the SAT General, there are SAT subject tests required by a few U.S. universities. But at most universities the subject tests are optional.
MAIN SAT QUESTION TYPES
"Critical Reading " (ie reading and vocabulary)
(2x25 minute sessions and 1x 20 minute session for a total of 70 minutes)
Sentence Completion questions require students to complete a sentence with a correct choice from five vocabulary words.
Passage Based Reading contains reading passages of 100-800 words followed by 1-8 questions, just like on the TOEFL or the GMAT

Writing ( ie writing and grammar)

(2x 25 minute sessions, 1x 10 minute session and a 25 minute essay for a total of 85 minutes)
The 25 minute essay tests for grammar plus sentence structure and complexity.
Identify Errors questions are approximately the same as the sentence correction part of the TOEFL. There is a sentence with 5 underlined words or phrases and the student has to pick the word or phrase that contains a grammar mistake, or to decide that there is no error.
Improve Sentences questions are like the sentence correction part of the GMAT. There is a sentence with an underlined phrase and the student has to pick a revision of that phrase from among five answer choices.
Improve Paragraphs questions are the same as improving sentences but there are whole paragraphs with sentences numbered. Students are asked questions on how to improve the various numbered sentences in each paragraph.
Math
(2x25 minute sessions and 1x 20 minute session for a total of 70 minutes. Students CAN use a calculator. )
Math multiple choice are just like the GMAT or GRE problem solving, but easier. Questions are mainly algebra, geometry and statistics.
Student Response math is also basic mathematics problem solving, but there are no answer choices to help. Students must black in a numerical grid with the answer
In addition to these question types, the SAT contains one variable experimental section (ie about 25 minutes of questions) that will repeat one of the question types mentioned above. It doesn't count toward a student's score but is used by the test makers to evaluate future questions. Students will not know which section is experimental.
