The TOEFL iBT Exam is required for students wishing to study in American Universities, Business Schools (MBA) and Law Schools (LL.M.), and for those applying to European Business Schools where the programs are taught in English.  (This exam is usually NOT required if you have already obtained a degree from a university where English was the language of instruction or if you graduated from school in an English speaking country.) Exam results are valid for only two years.  This preparation course is an intensive review for the TOEFL iBT exam.  This is NOT a general English course.

The course, taught entirely by native speakers, reviews in detail the integrated listening, reading, writing and speaking sections tested on the TOEFL iBT exam, reviews vocabulary words commonly found on the exam, and offers extra practice to those students who want to improve their spoken level of English.  The course teaches you the listening memorization, accent improvement, and speed-reading techniques that are proven to raise scores on the exam.  The course teaches essay writing formulas and templates that have proven successful, and 8-10 essays are individually corrected.  The course includes exercises designed to improve performance on the difficult spoken response portions of the test.

The course includes 36 clock hours (48 academic hours) of instruction, and you may repeat classes as desired, with partially different content, to provide 96 or more academic hours.  All books, materials, tapes, and software are provided.  You are strongly encouraged to spend considerable time on homework assignments, software exercises and the maintenance of a speaking journal for evaluation of progress in the speaking part of the exam.

Pre-requisites:  The course is geared to advanced students of English who want to score 100 or above on the TOEFL iBT exam.  Even students who enter the course with very high levels of English improve their scores considerably.  Students whose English levels prove to be below the level of other students in the course may be instructed by the professors to continue to listen in TOEFL class but to take additional English training and to repeat the TOEFL iBT preparation course free of charge at a later date.

Taught in English by fully qualified Western professors.
