Alexander Tretyakov has been selected as our February
Student of the Month. Mr. Tretyakov is a Plekhanov graduate where he
specialized in International Economics. After graduating Alexander,
worked for 5 years for the Moscow office of the World Bank. It was here
that he got his start and here that he eventually received the position
of Research Analyst. After 5 years he thought it was time to move on
in order to advance his career and it was at this point that he got
his current job in the largest Russian holdings company as a Project
Manager. Now it is once again time to advance his career and Alexander
has decided to obtain an MBA.
Alexander came to Pericles to study GMAT, and after
extensive studying he received a 720 on the GMAT. Since then, he has
applied to INSEAD and Columbia and has been accepted to both. Alexander
has decided on INSEAD because of their reputation in General Management,
which is the field he would like to work in after graduating. In the
long term Alexander's goals are to get his degree and then come back
to Russia to work in a senior level position at a large Russian company,
where he hopes he can help make a differnce in Russia by helping its
economy become more efficient. This is very admirable and nice to see
people wanting to work to improve the life of their society more than
the desire to improve their social status and we applaud you for this.
Currently, Alexander is hoping to get the ABN AMRO loan to help pay
for tuition and with his plans for the future we hope that he gets the
loan, comes back to Russia, and really makes a difference.
Alexander, from the staff and teachers at Pericles,
we enjoyed having you as a student and we wish you all the best as you
begin the road to your future success!
