Welcome to the June Student of the Month. This month we are congratulating yet another student on a job well done. Martin Schwarzburg comes to us from Germany. Martin is a graduate of the the Otto-von-Guericke' University, in Magdeburg/Germany, where he obtained his Masters Degree in Management and Accounting. In 1997 Martin decided to come to Russia where he worked, until 1999, as the audit supervisor for PriceWaterhouseCoopers. In 2000 he got a job as Corporate Controller for ASR Group, the number one Mercedes-Benz dealership in Russia. After four years in Russia and Ukraine Martin finally decided to go back to Germany to work as Accounting Manager in the head office of AIG/Lincoln, an American real estate company working throughout Europe.

Before leaving for Germany Martin decided that he wanted to enter into B-school and this is where we came in. Martin chose Pericles as the place where he would study for GMAT. After studying Martin went on to get 650 on the GMAT, showing that Pericles is truly an international learning center. Although Martin, as of yet, has not entered into B-school he is planning on applying to some top 10 schools, such as LBS, INSEAD, and IMD. Pericles wishes you luck as you start your application process and we hope you get into the school of your choice.
