Update: Tatiana has graduated from Duke University's LL.M. program and taken a position with the European Bank for Reconstruction & Development, in London.
Tatiana Golubko :
Tatiana Golubko graduated from the Russian State Institute of Intellectual Property in 2002 and she’s currently employed at Orrick Herrington & Sutcliff Company.
Since her fourth year of studying she had been dreaming about going for an LL.M. program abroad, but for personal reasons she stayed in Moscow and started looking for an LL.M. program in her native city.
In 2003 Tatiana met Dean Marian Dent at the “Education for Adults” fair and afterwards applied to the Pericles LL.M. program. She spent 3 happy years with Pericles, and after graduation realized that she still carries the dream to study abroad.
Her efforts succeeded in summer 2007: she was admitted to Columbia University, received scholarships from George Washington and Northwestern Law School, but her final choice was Duke University School of Law.
Tatiana recently received a Muskie scholarship, which covers all of her expenses at Duke. After 9 months of studying, Tatiana is going to apply for a 3-6 months trial period at an American company, most probably at Orrick Herrington & Sutcliff Company in the US.
We are proud of Tatiana and wish her the best luck in the USA!
