Welcome to August's Student of the Month. Just recently
we received an e-mail from a student of ours who just got accepted to
LBS. Marat Vorobiev graduated from a well respected law institute and
foreign language institute, where he obtained his degree in Japanese
and English. And like many people Marat started working in business,
which led him to the decision to get an MBA. After studying with Pericles
Marat got a score he was happy with on the GMAT and after
filling out his application he received an acceptance letter from LBS.
When asked why he chose LBS, Marat listed their dynamic learning environment,
LBS' opportunities for students to develop themselves and the diversity
of the student body.
Marat is hoping to pay for his education with private
loans, his own money and with the British Chevening Scholarship. Upon
graduating Marat is planning on returning to Moscow to work in investment
banking. Well Marat we wish you good luck and would like to say that
LBS is lucky to have a student like you. Congratulations!
Postscriptum: Marat emailed Pericles
in February 2003 to tell us that he started London Business School in
September 2002, successfully completed his first semester, and is hoping
to graduate on schedule in 2004. All the best to you in your studies
Marat!
