Robert E. Langer speaking on

'Issues with investment partnership and economic partnership under Russian Law'

Mr. Langer will talk about the new (relatively new) law on investment partnerships and how it appears to work vis a vis more traditional investment partnerships outside Russia.

Robert E. Langer joined Becker Glynn in 2015.  For more than 25 years, Mr. Langer has been advising Russian and foreign companies and individuals on structuring strategic and portfolio investments worldwide with a focus in Russia and the former Soviet Union.  Mr. Langer actively advises venture capital investors and funds as well as start-up and early stage companies in structuring investments and operations of technology companies involved in a wide range of endeavors, including telecom, information technology, software, fintech, medical devices, nanotechnology, gaming and other innovative industries.  He has assisted clients to structure and operate venture and private equity funds, as well as hedge and opportunity funds focused on the former Soviet Union, Europe, Middle East, Asia and the United States and he assists companies in raising capital on domestic and foreign debt and equity markets.
